Dear Mr. Jordan,
This pertains to your bid for the school’s proposed science laboratory building. After the school board’s initial evaluation, it appears that officials have narrowed their choices between Jordan Construction, your company, and Lakeside Builders. University regulations mandate that we spend thirty days reviewing your proposals and soliciting expert opinions. As it stands now, we can attest that both will _________. At any rate, the losing bidder will have an opportunity to submit a counter proposal. Our decision will be announced next month.
Respectfully yours, Scott Michaels Chancellor, University of Chicago
