Korea is globally well known for pervasive cult groups. My family and mother side relatives are involved in such a case.
When I was a kid, I was forced to attend my mother's religious group but, aftrer grown up, I could be able to cut all ties with this group but not with my mother. I had confrontations with her over this issue but these days, she no longer try to persuade me to go to the church. I still suspect she might attempt it again in the future.
I was abused by her in my childhood, she appears hypocritical to me. She is being so selfish.
Despite wanting to make up with her by letting go of all my animosiity agains her. But her selfishness and ignorance are still haunting me.
