In addition to high Toefl and Toeic scores, improved "writing ability" can only reinforce your competitiveness in every nook and corner in the Korean society. From all levels of school to businesses and even officialdom, "writing ability" and "presentation" (speaking) can only make no one rival you. There are lots of people with high Toeic and Teofl scores.
Particularly in the revised state-run exams for the position of the English school teacher, essay-writing will decisively determine your fate. It would take a year at least to prepare for "essay-writing" in such a way as to overwhelm your rivals.
In addition, those who are applying for the divisions of international studies" (국제학부)- and "global leaders (elites)"- related parts of unversities, I hope, will be my students. They will include those applying for Yonsei's UIC and graduate schools of international studies. Essay-writing is expected to be resumed sooner or later in the coming summer-time entrance college exams, possibly from this year on.
