would like to know about your neighbors. Who are they? What do they do? How often
do you interact with them?
A1. Honestly,
I saw my neighbors only one time. We met in the elevator and passed away after
we were out. That’s it. We didn’t say hello to each other or talk about anything
at all. So, I don’t know who they are or what they do.
Q2. Can
you tell me about an interesting or memorable experience you have had in your neighborhood?
Tell me about the experience in detail and explain what made it so memorable.
A2. In
my neighborhood, there is a large exhibition hall. I went there with my mother
a few months ago. The exhibition is about coffee and bakery. There were various
type of coffee beans and desserts, and we can enjoy a lot of tasting. So, we were
constantly eating for 2 hours. I think it is memorable because I can eat different
kind of desserts in one place and of course everything was free.
Q3. How has
your neighborhood changed from when you were young? Describe in detail how it
was in the past, and how it is now.
A3. When
I was young, my hometown didn’t have high-rise apartment buildings. But after many
years of construction, a lot of apartments over 40 floors have been created. Also,
a department store and many facilities such as convenient stores, cafes and
restaurants were built near that place. So, now my neighborhood is becoming a convenient
place to live.
