프렌즈 미드보면서 영어공부하고있는데요
이해안가는 대사가 하나 있어서 질문합니다.
아래대사는 주인공들끼리 ㅅㅅ에대해서 얘기를 나누고있는데요 comedian이 키스고 Pink Floyd라는 락그룹은 ㅅㅅ를 의미하는것 까진 알겠는데
마지막 바로전에 Chandler의 대사인
The problem is, though, after the concert's over, no matter how great the show was, you girls are always looking for the comedian again, y'know? I mean, we're in the car, we're fighting traffic... basically just trying to stay awake.
의 의미를 잘모르겠어서요...
첫문장은 너희 여자들은 ㅅㅅ가 끝난후에도 키스를 할려고 하지.. 뭐이런건 알겠는데 그다음문장요 차에있고 교통체증과 싸운다... 그냥 깨어있을려고 한다 이게 뭘의미하는건가요?
MONICA: What you guys don't understand is, for us, kissing is as important as any part of it.
JOEY: Yeah, right!.......Y'serious?
PHOEBE: Oh, yeah!
RACHEL: Everything you need to know is in that first kiss.
MONICA: Absolutely.
CHANDLER: Yeah, I think for us, kissing is pretty much like an opening act, y'know? I mean it's like the stand-up comedian you have to sit through before Pink Floyd comes out.
ROSS: Yeah, and-and it's not that we don't like the comedian, it's that-that... that's not why we bought the ticket.
CHANDLER: The problem is, though, after the concert's over, no matter how great the show was, you girls are always looking for the comedian again, y'know? I mean, we're in the car, we're fighting traffic... basically just trying to stay awake.
RACHEL: Yeah, well, word of advice: Bring back the comedian. Otherwise next time you're gonna find yourself sitting at home, listening to that album alone.
JOEY: (PAUSE)....Are we still talking about sex?
