주차요금이 너무 비싼 것 같지 않아요?
위의 문장을 듣고 제가 쓴 것은 don't you think the parking fee is a bit stiff이다.
제 질문은 가격이 비싸다는 표현을 사용할 땐 steep대신 stiff를 사용해도 별 이상은 없지 않는가? 이다
물론 위의 문장의 경우 steep와 stiff의 발음은 다르겠지만 (솔직히 저는 잘 구분못함)
위의 두 형용사에 관해 저에게 설명해 주실 것이 있는 분은 좀 알려주시길 바랍니다

애초에 steep은 단어사전에 너무비싼 이런 뜻이 있기때문에 steep 이라고 써야하지않을까요?
