안녕하세요 혼자공부하다 보니 문법 많이 힘드네요
세가지 정도 질문이 잇는데
An old gentleman had been hired by a young town councilman to clear away
the sand from the pools of water up in the mountain that fed the spring flowing
through their town.
이 긴 문장에서요 water up in the mountain 에서 up in 이부분이 좀 이해가 잘 안가요
둘다 전치사 인거 아닌가요?
그리고 문장중에 For all we know, the stranger of the hills is not doing anyting.
이라고 해석은 for all we know 우리가 알기로는 이라고 되 있는데 이런 해석은 어디를 찾아
봐야 알수 있는 거죠?
또 The swans left,as did the tourists 라는 문장에서요
as가 접속사인거 맞는지 ? 뒤에 주어동사 순서가 왜 저렇게 구성됐는지 궁금해욤 ㅠㅠ
