New it's TEPS책을 독학으로 공부중인데 모르는게 많아서요^^
1. have the car waiting -> waited아닌가요?
2. (p.143) I didn't feel suitable to a career in medicine.
--> suitable 대신 suited인데 be suitable for + 목적, 때 이렇게만 쓰이는건가요?
3. (p.207) 6. He said that money was not important for him.
--> for him대신 to him을 써야 한다는데 종종 for로도 쓰던데.. 무슨 차이가 있는지요?
4. (p.210) 22. It is difficult to concentrate during such a long time.
--> concentrate on이 되어야 하지 않나요? 사전보니 항상 concentrate는 on, at, in 이란 전치사와 함께 쓰이던데..vt로도 종종 쓰일 수 있는건가요..?;;
5. (p.220) 3. The opposite woman .....
--> the woman opposite me라고 써야한다는데 an opposite angle(대각) 이런식으로 쓰이는데 굳이 저렇게 바꿔야 하나요?
6. Most of the food is cold already when you get it.
--> 일반적으로 is already cold라고 쓰잖아요? 근데 항상 부사가 단독으로 쓰이면 꾸미는 말 바로 앞에 가나요?
7. (p240) 9. the sports pages are as fun for reading as the comics.
--> as much fun to read로 써야 맞는데 위 문장은 틀린건가요?
8. (280) ______ of these reference books have the information ~~
여기서 답이 None인데 Nothing은 답이 안되나요?
Not any, any로는 문장을 시작할 수 없지만 Not anything이 합쳐진 Nothing은 가능한거 아닌가요?
