왜 (c) tried to do 는 안돼는지 궁금합니다.
do 는 대동사로서, 그냥 목적어 없이 tried to do 가 가능하지 않나요?

이게 문장구성성분이 어떻게 된 것인지 궁금합니다.
mostly나 perfectly는 부사인것 같은데...
그러면 여기서 주어가 a structure이고...... 그러면 spherical는 문장성분이 뭐죠?

이 문장에선 ho matter how hard she tried (to get over her anger ~)로
목적어만 반복되는 경우가 아니므로 반복되는 to부정사 이하가 전부 생략된 tried가 맞습니다.
말씀하신 대동사는 말그대로 '동사구'를 대체하는 경우에 쓰는 것입니다~
I had asked her to visit me and she did(visited me). 처럼요 ~
2. 부사 mostly 와 perfectly가 형용사 spherical을 꾸미는 것입니다.
A structure(주어) / that is mostly, but perfectly, spherical/ is called (동사부분) / a spheroid (보어) 으로 보시면 되요.
