나이스be delightful -ing는 별도의 관용 표현은 아니에요.
또한 delightful 뒤에는 to 부정사도 올 수 있어요:)
예를 들어,

나이스수식보다는 it(가주어), seeing(동명사, 진주어)로 보시는 게 맞을 것 같아요 :)
To see/Seeing your children(주어) was(동사) delightful(보어)가 원래 문장인데 저 주어가 뒤로 가면서 그 자리를 가주어 it이 채워준거죠 :)
그래서
To see your children was delightful -> It was delightful to see your children.
Seeing your children was delightfl -> It was delightful seeing your children.
