차라리 philosophers 들은 어떤 의미에서 intellectuals이므로
공자는 이러한 철학자들에게 inspiration을 주는 스승이라고 보는게 맞다고 생각합니다
또한 바로 뒤 Leading thinkers during Confucius' time 역시 Enlightenment Era, H.G Creel 이외에도 언급이 되는데, 이 역시 포괄해야하는 첫 문장에 modern은 어울리지않는다는 생각입니다.
