여기서 답은 일단 a 입니다.

캠패인의 "한부분"으로~ 이란 뜻으로 part가 불가산 명사로 쓰여서 a인거 같은데..

part가 가산명사로 쓰이는 경우는 언제인가용??

(영영사전을 찾와봤을때, "부분"이란 의미로 해석될땐 가산 불가산 다 된다는데... 어떻게 구분하죵??)

여기서는 답이 a인데요..

해설에서 말하기를

본래문장이 A recent inspection of the customer's refrigerator revealed that the compressor had rusted and it necessitated replacement. 에서 접속사 동일주어 생략 동사 → ~ing로 만든 분사구문이라하는데...

이렇게 접속사를 생략하는 분사구문은 시간 조건절에서만 이루어 지는 줄 알았는데..

등위접속절에서도 이게 가능한건가요??
