그런데 if 가 생략되었다고 가정하고 윗 문장을 만들어보니 are compensated 가 안 맞는것같아서요.
if 절 말고는 would/could/should/might가 들어가야하는거아닌가요? be 동사인 are이 바로 오는 거 보니 if 가 생략된건 아닌건가 싶어요ㅠㅠㅠ

굳이 would should could might만 들어가면 되는 건 아니고 be동사로도 들어올 수 있을거같네요!
