목적어 : 명사 역할 하는 것들, 주어=목적어=보어
① 목적어 자리에 오는 것
목적어에 들어갈 수 있는 3가지 대명사 : 목적격, 재귀 대명사, 소유대명사 -> 해석에 따라
to부정사를 목적어로 취하는 동사 -> to부정사는 목적어가 될 수 X

② 가목적어 it 구문 : 목적격 보어O, 새 부정사구나 that절이 O일 경우
목적격 보어를 취하는 동사 (KFCLMC)

* KFCLMC + to부정사 / that 절 + OC
* KFCLMC + it + OC + 진O(to부정사/that절)
③ 보어 자리에 올 수 있는 것 : 명사 or 형용사
명사/ 대명사/ to부정사 / 동명사 / 명사절
보어만 될 수 있는 것 : 형용사[분사] / 숙어 전치사
자주 출제되는 전치사) on / under / out of / among
동사, 부사는 보어가 될 수 X
주격 보어 -> be동사, 일반동사(불완전자동사, 연결동사) 뒤
look / seem / appear / sound expensive(O) / expensively(X)
feel / taste / sound well(X) / good(O)
get / become frequent(O) / frequently(X)
remain silent(O) / silently(X)
stay competitive(O) / competitively(X)
Hold + O + accountable / responsible / liable for : [목적어에게] ~의 책임을 지우다.
수동> be held accountable / responsible / liable for : [주어가] ~에 대한 책임을 지다.
④ 명사 보어 vs 형용사 보어 : 보어가 주어나 목적어를 설명 -> 형용사 보어
명사보어 : 동격(직업/직책/명칭)
형용사 보어 : 상황 / 상태 / 특징
★어휘★
assure ~라고 확실히 말하다, 보장하다
ex) The chairperson assured the investors that the merger wouldn’t affect the stock value.
출제포인트) 1. assure A that절 : A에게 ~을 보장하다. ->ensure(목적어 1개)과 함께 나옴.
-> RIACA[리어카] + O 1 + O 2 (that 절)

accommodate 수용하다, 배려하다, 부응하다
ex) The luxurious beachfront rooms can easily accommodate up to seven occupants.
Collocation) 1. accommodate guests : 손님들을 수용하다
★2. accommodate the demand : 수요를 맞춰주다. (meet = fulfill)
3. accommodations = lodging
broaden 확대하다, 넓히다.
ex) Travel broadens the mind.
Collocation) broaden the knowledge 지식을 확대하다.
-en 은 동사를 만드는 접미사(동사원형)
deepen 악화시키다, 심화시키다, 깊게 하다.
sharpen 날카롭게 하다
lengthen 연장하다
undergo 겪다, 경험하다
ex) Berken Corporation will undergo transitions in organizational structure due to recent
promotions.
Collocation) undergo the training 연수를 받다.
undergo the transition 변화를 겪다 ( = undergo change)
undergo the renovation 새단장을 하다
alleviate 경감하다, 완화하다
ex)The airport is building an additional terminal to alleviate overcrowding.
Collocation) 1. alleviate the problem / situation / traffic 문제/ 상황 / 교통을 완화시키다
2. = reduce / relieve
