전치사의 목적어로 명사 또는 동명사로 쓰인다고 했는데요.
p126-3번입니다.
Despite____more employees for the factory, the production manager still believes the facility in understaffed.
Despite이 전치사니까 명사 또는 동명사가 온다고 해서 저는 hired를 선택했었습니다.
hired를 형용사로 뒤에 있는 employees를 꾸며 준다고 봤거든요...
근데 답은 having hired 였습니다. 왜 그런건지 궁금합니다.
