동명사 - 명사역할 한다.

동명사의 형태는?
->'동사원형 + ing'

동명사는 명사 역할을 하는데, 명사와는 어떻게 다른가?
->동명사 : 목적어를 취할 수 있는 명사 : She stopped collecting comic books.
-> 명사 : 목적어를 취할 수 없는 명사 : We went to a park after lunch.
동명사의 성질
-> 목적어/보어를 취한다.
-improve health care 의료상태 및 보건을 향상시키다

01. 동명사의 자리와 역할
1. 동명사가 오는 자리
- 주어 " 문장 맨 앞에"
- 목적어 "동사 뒤에"
- 보어 "be동사 뒤에"
- 전치사뒤 "without, on, by 등 전치사 뒤에"
2. 동명사가 올 수 없는 자리
->동사, 명사
-> (Demand, Demanding) a raise in salary is not acceptable. (동사는 주어자리에 올 수 없음)
-> The owner cared about (to improve, improving) services. (전치사 뒤에 to부정사 안됨)
**예외** (전치사 뒤에 to부정사 쓰는 경우)
be about to 동사 : 막 동사할 참이다
ex) She is about to cry.
02. 동명사를 필요로 하는 동사들
