3. 인칭대명사의 격에 따라 오는 자리

주격 She opened new bank account.

- 동사 왼쪽에 온다.(I, You, He, They, We, It)

목적격 The host showed me the living room.

- 동사 오른쪽에 온다.(you, him, her, them, us, it)

소유격 Mr. Jones was satisfied with his salary.

- 명사 앞에 온다.(my, your, her, their, our, its)

4. 소유대명사

Oh! my face! → mine / 나의 것

Oh! your face! → yours / 너의 것

Oh! his face! → his / 그의 것

Oh! her face! → hers / 그녀의 것

Oh! their face! → theirs / 그들의 것

Oh! our face! → ours / 우리의 것

Oh! its face! → 없음

5. 재귀대명사

-주어=목적어

- Bob introduced himself to the new employee. O

- Bob introduced him to the new employee. X

-강조

- We ourselves must take precautions against the flu.

강조하고 싶은 명사 뒤에 사용

-특정표현

- I spent a whole weekend by myself.

by가 붙으면 나 혼자서/ 나 스스로

6. 지시대명사

- this, these, that, those

- 유형

1. “_____ 명사” (빈칸 바로 뒤 명사)

2. “_____ 수식어” (빈칸 바로 뒤 수식어)

# 지시형용사

유형 1일때

-this+단수명사

This CD player is under warranty.

-that+단수명사

That bridge shows signs of wear.

-these+복수명사

These clothes are made of silk.

-those+복수명사

Those watches are best-selling items.

# 지시대명사

유형 2일 때

비교와 수식어 일 때 that, those만 사용

- that

Our printer is cheaper than that (printer) of our competitor.

- those

This week’s review are better than those (reviews)from last week.

7. 부정대명사

(some/ any)

- 긍정문

The printer has some problems.

- 부정문

I have not read any of these books.

- 의문문

Do you have any questions?

- 조건문

If you have any questions, please ask.

(one/ another/ other)

- 2개: one-the other

I have two candies.

One candy is red, and the other candy is blue.

- 한 캔디는 빨간색, 다른 캔디는 파란색

Jim bought two shirts.

One is black and the other is white.

간단 정리 - 하나는 one, 나머지 하나는 the other

- 여러 개(3개 이상): one-another-other(s)/the other(s)

I have many candies.

One candy is red, and another candy is blue, +

1, other candies are green.

2, the other candies are green.

- 한 캔디는 빨간색, 또 하나의 캔디는 파란색+

1, 다른 캔디들은 초록색

2, 나머지 캔디들은 초록색

other와 the other 헷갈릴텐데 그게 그거 랍니다!!!

8. 대명사와 명사의 일치

- 대명사와 명사의 수일치

The company celebrated their/its 20th anniversary.

The engineers fixed the machine by himself/themselves.

Our products are superior to that/those of our rivals.

- 대명사와 명사의 성일치

Mr. Hart and her/his wife were invited to the reception.

Susan received an award from his/her boss.

The corporation proved himself/itself to be the best.

- this, these, that, those

- 유형

1. “_____ 명사” (빈칸 바로 뒤 명사)

2. “_____ 수식어” (빈칸 바로 뒤 수식어)

유형 1같은 경우는 this, these, that, those 모두 사용 가능!!

유형 2처럼 빈칸 바로 뒤 수식어가 온다거나 비교일 때에는

that, those만 사용 가능!!
