2. 등위접속사와 종속접속사(명사절)의 차이
- 등위접속사
-I like dogs and cats.
-I like dogs but hate bats.
-I like dogs but my brother likes cats.
- 종속접속사(명사절)
-I know that my brother likes cats.
3. 등위접속사와 상관접속사
and | or | but | so | yet |
그리고 | 또는 | 그러나 | 그래서 | 그러나 |
- 등위접속사
I cleaned the room and prepared the meal.
I opposed his view but accepted it.
- 상관접속사
- both A and B = 둘 다
- either A or B = 둘 중 하나
- neither A nor B = 둘 다 아니다
- not only A but also B = 둘 다
He studied both physics and mathematics.
We will watch either a play or movie.
They went neither camping nor fishing.
Jason bought not only pants but also shirts.
4. 종속접속사
수식어, 주어 동사 목적어
ex) Skillfully, I explained the concept.
->> (Because I am smart,) I explained that (the Earth is round.)
부사절 명사절
- 명사절 접속사(that, if/whether)
>>>문장을 명사로 만들어 주는 단어
- 명사절의 위치: 주어, 목적어
- that+주어 동사=주어가 동사한다는 것!
That she won the award was a big surprise.
- if/whether+주어 동사=주어가 동사하는지 아닌지
Mr. Lee has not yet decided whether he will transfer.
- 부사절 접속사
- 수식어, 주어 동사 목적어/보어 수식어
- 수식어 - 부사, 부사절
He postponed the event (because rain was expected.) -> 주절 뒤
(Although Tim is inexperienced,) he did his best. -> 주절 앞
- 형용사절 접속사
잘생긴 후보자 = hansome candidate
경력이 있는 후보자 => 후보자 - 경력을 가진
candidate who has work experience.
- 사람 who 동사: 동사하는 사람
We hired a candidate who has work experience.
- 사물 which 동사: 동사하는 사물
We released a new book which is about gardening.

이번 강의는 딱히 암기가 힘들지도 않고 이해하는 것도 쉽습니다.
아무래도 남강현 선생님이 자세하고 쉽게 알려주기 때문에
쉽게 강의를 들은 듯 하네요.
단어 암기가 강의를 따라오지 못하여 오늘 강의어휘는
따로 가리지 않고 따로따로 벽에 붙여놓고 외우고 있습니다.
