이번 시간에는 명사절에 대해서 배웠습니다. 명사절 접속사에는 이런 것들이 있다 식의 소개하는 정도이고 어떻게 쓰이는지,
어떻게 구별하는지에 대한 핵심적인 내용들을 잘 설명해 주신 것 같습니다!!!
1. 명사절 자리
1) 주어 자리
ex) When he will come back is uncertain.
2) 목적어 자리
ex) Our staff members know that Mr. Ju cares about them.
3) 보어 자리
ex) The question is who will do it.
4) 전치사 뒤
ex) I am thinking about what he said.
5) 명사절 접속사 자리에 올 수 없는 것들 (it / 전치사들)
ex) Two factors account for ( it / why ) sales were up in June.
The hotel guests compained ( about / that ) the rooms were cold.
2. 명사절 접속사
1) that
That he drew the picture is unbelievable.
2) if/whether
I don't know if she ordered it. (명사절)
I can buy a building, if I should become rich. (부사절)
if 명사절 : 주어가 동사하는지 아닌지
if 부사절 : 주어가 동사한다면,
Whether he will agree is another question.
Whether you like it or not, I will become a teacher.
whether 명사절 : 주어가 동사하는지 아닌지
whether 부사절 : 주어가 동사이든 아니든
3) 의문사 (who / when / where / what / which / why / how )
who 동사 : (who는 주어 역할도 같이 하기 때문에 who 뒤에 주어가 또 나오지 않습니다!!!!)
when 주어 동사 : 언제 주어가 동사하는지
how 주어 동사 : 어떻게 주어가 동사하는지
ex) Who invented the product is unknown.
I wonder when the class starts. cf) wonder about 명사 / wonder + 명사절!!! 차이 구별!!!
ex) He told me how he succeeded.
