1. 단수주어와 단수동사의 수일치
1 단수가산명사 the company intends to open a local branch.

2. 복수주어와 복수동사의 수일치
1.복수가산명사 The students expect the weather will be fine.
2. 주어 and 주어 Jack and I are taking an accounting class.

동사는 수-태-시를 알아야하는데 오늘은 먼저 '수'를 배워보았습니다.
수일치란, 단수주어는 단수동사, 복수주어는 복수동사를 쓰는것을 말합니다. 단수주어는 단수가산명사와 불가산명사, ~하는것으로 해석되는 동명사나 명사절등... each/every+단수명사등으로, 단수동사를써서 수일치를 시켜주고, 복수주어는 복수가산명사나, 주어and주어, several/many a few+복수명사 등으로, 복수동사를 써서 수일치를 시켜주어야 합니다.
주어와 동사 사이에 수식어가 온경우 헷갈릴수있는데 수식어를 걷어내고 주어를 찾아서 수일치를 시켜야합니다. 부분이나 전체를 나타내는 표현인 most/ all/ some/ half/ the rest +of + the명사'주어가 온경우는 수일치가 특이한데... of뒤에 나오는 명사에 수일치를 시켜줘야합니다. 예로, All of the employees 는 복수동사를, The rest of the team은 단수동사를 써줘야 하는것이지요.
