1. 목적어 자리에 올 수 있는 것 : 명사 역할 하는 것

동명사만 목적어로 취하는 동사

    - suggest / recommend / consider / avoid

    Steve prefers exercising in the morning - 동명사

to부정사를 목적어로 취하는 동사

    - learn / hope / plan / offer / refuse / promise / wish / want / decide / fail

2. 가목적어 it 구문

목적격 보어를 취하는 동사(Keep, Find, Consider, Leave, Make, Call)

    Keep : (목적어가) ~하게 하다 [3형식 - 유지하다, 가지다]

    Find : (목적어가) ~임을 알게 되다 [3형식 - 찾다, 발견하다]

    Consider : (목적어가) ~라고 여기다 [3형식 - 고려하다]

    Leave : (목적어가) ~놓아두다,만들다 [3형식 - 남기다]

    Make : (목적어가) ~하게 만들다

    Call : (목적어가) ~라고 부르다 [3형식 - 전화하다]

3. 보어 자리에 올 수 있는 것 : 명사 또는 형용사

1. 주=목=보 모두 가능한 것

    명사 / 대명사 / to부정사 / 동명사 / 명사절

2. 보어만 될 수 있는 것(두 가지)

    형용사(분사) / 숙어 전치사

    ex) He is on vacation. 그는 휴가 중이다.

    자주 출제되는 전치사 -> on / under / out of / among

3. 주격 보어를 갖는 동사, 목적격 보어를 갖는 동사

1) 주격 보어 

    1. be 동사

    2. 일반동사( 불완전자동사, 연결동사 ) + 형용사, 분사

        look/seem/appear/sound    +    expressive(형)

        feel/taste/sound    +    good(형)

        get/become    +    frequent(형)

        remain    +    slient(형)

        stay    +    competitive(형)

2) 목적격 보어

    1. keep(목적격 보어를 취하는 동사)

    2. find(목적격 보어를 취하는 동사)

    3. consider(=deem) (목적격 보어를 취하는 동사)

    4. leave(목적격 보어를 취하는 동사)

    Please leave the door open/closed

    5. make (목적격 보어를 취하는 동사)
