준동사의 역할

- to 부정사 : 명사, 형용사, be동사 뒤 보어, 부사

명사 역할: 

1. 주어

To learn a second language is good.

it, to v --> 가주어(it), 진주어(to v) 구분하기 

2. 목적어

to부정사를 목적어로 취하는 동사

ex) learn, hope, plan, offer, refuse, promise, wish, want, decide, fail, strive, manage, afford, pretend, serve, agree, propose, need

3. 주격보어

His duty is to attract the customers.

4. 목적격보어

ask / require / request+목+to 부정사

want / need / expect / invite

encourage / convince / cause 

force / compel / reqiore 

allow / enable 

remind / warn / advise

5. 형용사

I have some news to report. (news를 수식)

6. 부사

이미 문장이 다 완성되고 to 부정사가 의미 보충을 해주는 역할.

-목적: in orer to / so as to

-이유: 감정의 형용사 다음에 오면

ex) I am delighted to introduce the new branch manager. 

-결과: He woke up only to realize he was late.

*전치사 to: in addition to, be dedicated / committed / devoted to + 목적어

*to 부정사의 수동형은 to be p.p, 진행형은 to be ing, 완료형은 to have p.p

- 동명사 : 명사

- 분사 : 형용사

- 원형부정사를 목적격 보어로 갖는 동사

: 사역동사(make, let, have)+o+원형 부정사

* 준사역동사 help+o+원형부정사/to 부정사

* 지각동사'9hear, see, watch, notice)+o+동사원형/현재분사 가능

단어) meticulously 꼼꼼하게, 세심하게 =thoroughly

adversely 불리하게, 반대로
