수식어 : 문장에 없어도 되는 부가적인 성분
1) 전치사구
*at/on/in/from
*such as/in addition to
*plus(절도 가능)/following(=after)/like/unlike
2) to 부정사 (형용사, 부사 역할)
-형용사 역할
somebody to love / something to drink
attempt to ~하기 위한 시도, effort to ~하기 위한 노력
-부사 역할
I came here to see you -> 목적(in order to, so as to)
목적/이유/결과 등을 주로 언급
3) 분사
The bag left in the lobby belongs(동사) to you
분사 : 동사에서 나와서 형용사 역할
->주어 다음에 오는 단어가 반드시 동사는 아니다.
->동사인지 분사인지 의심이 들 땐 문장 뒤에서 동사 유무를 확인해라
4) 관계절
I have a collegue who works extremely hard.
사람N who + 동사 -> N ing /p.p
사물N which
사람/사물N that
*anyone who is
*those who are
N who/which/that +일반동사 ->N ing
The people who drink coffee are
The people drinking coffee are
N who/which/that + be p.p(수동태) -> N + p.p

5) 부사절
명사절 : [접 S+V] V , V[접 S+V]
형용사절 : N[접(S)+V]
부사절: 접 S+V,S+V[주절]
