부정대명사, 부정형용사
one은 정해지지 않은 단수가산 명사를 대신한다.
앞에 나온 명사가 뒤에 또 나오면 불필요한 반복을 피하기 위해 사용.
My sweater didn't fit, so I purchased a bigger one.
Another은 이미 언급한 것 이외의 또 다른 하나
One of the visitors is interested living room.
Another visitor is in the kitchen.(형용사- 단수 가산 수식)
Another is in the kitchen.(대명사 - 단수 취급)
단대형- 대명사 단수취급, 형용사로 단수명사 수식
Other 이미 언급한 것 이외의 것들 중 몇몇
복불형 - 복수나 불가산을 수식해주는 형용사
One of the visitors is in the living room.
Other visitors are in the kitchen.
Others는 이미 언급한 것 이외의 것들 중 몇몇
복대 - 대명사로 복수 취급
Some people are in the living room and others are in the kitchen.
The others 는 정해진 것 중 남은 것 전부를 의미한다.
복대 - 대명사로 복수 취급
나머지 전체를 취급할때 the others
The other 정해진 것 중 남은 것 전부
대형형
대명사 일땐- 마지막 남은 것 하나
형용사 일 때 + 단수 명사 = 마지막 남은 것 하나
+ 복수명사 = 2개 이상 남아있는 것 전부
Joh has four friends. Three are here.
The other friend is at home. = The other is at home.
John has four friends. One is here.
The other friends are at home.
= The others are at home.
each other = one another 서로서로 (대명사)
