<주어와 수의 일치>
단수주어+단수동사, 복수주어 + 복수동사

*s로 끝나지만 단수취급 _학문명칭
economics / statistics / politics

*s가 붙지않는 복수명사
medium(수단) - media(수단들)
criterion(기준) - criteria(기준들)

*s로 끝나는 단수명사 a와 함께 사용 가능
customs 세관 headquarters 본사 series 연속물 species 종 means 수단

*sis로 끝나는 명사는 복수형이 ses
basis - bases

*수식어거품은 동사의 수 결정에 영향을 주지않는다

*단수 취급되는 수량표현에는 단수동사 사용

some, any, every,no * thing,body,one => 단수취급

*복수취급되는 수량표현에는
복수동사

*부분이나 전체를 나타내는 표현이 나오면 of 뒤 명사에 동사 수 일치

*접속사 and 로 연결된 주어는 복수동사
*접속사 or 로 연결된 주어(a or b)는 b에 동사 수일치
*관계절 동사는 선행사에 수일치
