미래:If +s+should+동사원형, s+조동사 +동사원형

->가능성이 희박한 미래, 미래의 조건

과거: If + s + 동사과거, s + 조동사 과거 + 동사원형

->현재의 반대를 가정

과거완료 : If + s + had + p.p , s + 조동사 과거+ have + p.p

->과거의 반대를 가정

미래- 가능성 희박한 미래

If it shold snow tomorrow. I wil stay indoors.

과거 - 현재 사실의 반대

If i were you, I would go there

과거완료-과거 사실 반대

If someone had offered me a ride, I might have gone to the concert.

미래

If 주어 should 동사원형 -> should 주어 동사원형

If Mr. Harley should agree to the terms.

**포인트

1)      S+V,  S+V -> 접속사 Vs Should 해석

과거

If 주어 과거동사(were) -> Were  주어 + 명사/형용사

If Valerie were not so tired, she would join us for dinner

->Were Valerie not so tired, she would join us for dinner

과거완료

If 주어 had p.p -> Had 주어 p.p

If I had completed my masters degree, I would have gotten a better job

-> Had I completed my masters degree, ~

If it were not for + 명사/ If it had not been for + 명사

=> with out 명사

I couldn't finish this assignment without your help

=> I could never have finished the assignment without my coworker's help
