4강 내용: 대명사, 동사어구
대명사: S,O,C 자리에 쓰일 수 있다.
인칭대명사: 사람을 가리킴. 성/수/격에 주의할 것
소유대명사
ex) - My room has one window. Here has two.
- The boss dislikes her idea. He likes mine.
재귀대명사: 주어 = 목적어일 때 사용.
ex) - She made her some cookies.
- She made herself some cookies.
지시대명사
ex) - Our printer is cheaper than that of our competitor.
- This week's reviews are better than those from last week.
부정대명사
※ another과 the other 구분
: one을 제외하고, onother은 남은 대상이 2개 이상일 때 사용
남아있는 마지막 대상일 때는 the other를 사용
others 대신에 the others를 사용해도 된다.
명사어구
1. interest in: ~에 대한 관심
ex) Ms. MaClain has a keen interest in accounting.
2. staff productivity: 직원 생산성
3. attendance records: 출근 기록
4. compliance with: ~에 대한 준수
5. confidence in: ~에 대한 신임
6. baggage allowance: 수하물 허용치
ex) The domestic baggage allowance is 16 kilograms.
7. time constraints: 시간 제약
8. questions concerning: ~에 관한 질문
ex) If you have questions concering the process, send us an e-mail.
concerning은 about처럼 해석해도 됨.
